Andika has over 10 years of experience in public policy and policy advocacy on topics such as corporate climate commitment, sustainable land use and commodities, and sustainable forest management in Southeast Asia.
He currently leads the Rimba Collective fund at Lestari Capital, a forest conservation and restoration fund that aims to conserve 500,000 hectares of forests and deliver USD 1 billion for forest conservation and restoration in Southeast Asia over 25 years.
Andika is well-versed and responsible for aligning Rimba Collective with climate and nature corporate sustainability platforms such as the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and Science-Based Targets for Nature (SBTN), as well as ensuring that Rimba Collective outcomes can de-risk users’ sustainability-related financial reporting for frameworks such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
He serves as a technical expert and advisory group member on numerous climate and forest conservation task forces, such as the SBTi Technical Advisory Group, SBTi BVCM (Beyond Value Chain Mitigation) Expert Advisory Group, The Yale Forest Dialogue Indonesia advisory group, and Chairman of the Rimba Collective Steering Committee.
Before joining Lestari Capital, he was the Deputy Program Director of Agriculture, Forests, and Land Use at the World Resources Institute Indonesia. Andika received a Master of Science in Forestry from Northern Arizona University as the recipient of the USAID-CIFOR Fellowship.
